Medieval town of Cravant

You'll love strolling around this old wine-growing town with its courtyards, covered alley ways and half-timbered houses.

Discover the covered market place and fountain and visit the town's three major monuments: the remarkable church, dedicated to Saint-Pierre and Paul: an unfinished tower and remarkable coffered ceilings.

At the foot of an old washhouse, not far from the commemorative slab dedicated to the famous battle of Cravant, stands an imposing Keep, formerly a prison which, in summer, hosts exhibitions open to the public. There are also lots of lovely walks.

Explore the Medieval ruins and beautiful restored houses behind the town hall.
