Mailly la Ville

The village of Mailly-la-Ville is quite captivating, with its bridge overlooking the Nivernais canal, its landing stages and boats in the stopping point.

On the banks of the Nivernais canal, opposite the lock, there is a small sculpture of a mermaid, by Yves Varanguin.
It's always fun watching the tourists, in their boats, struggle to work the locks.

A snack bar and leisure park with mini golf course are open in high season and a swimming area, supervised in July/August, nearby.

The washhouse, near the river and an old windmill, may be used as a picnic area.

Take the so-called "Fleurs Boudin," Natura 2000 nature trail and discover the history of the village and the local flora.
