This Medieval town has preserved its small alley ways and half-timbered houses.

A pretty stone fountain takes pride of place in the middle of the shopping district (post office, butcher, grocer, flower shop, newsagent etc.) where you'll also find a tourist office.

A remarkable church, borders an esplanade, not far from the privately-owned keep, where, in summer there are organized tours and exhibitions.

There is a community centre next to the regional leisure centre and games area.
Spend some time exploring the town and surrounding area: there are number of chalets, with open-air pools, available for seasonal rentals, and a range of hotels.
There are also many nice, small restaurants.

The Nivernais canal nearby is ideal for a lovely stroll, bike ride or a spot of roller-skating along the Green Way.

This amenity-rich town is served by a railway station.
It also boasts a large number of talented wine-growers - why not ask for a taste?
