Sacy

Stone village, at the gateway to the Tonnerrois.

Its charming stone houses invite you to take a closer look at the village.

Stop to admire a carved lintel or pop into a lovely wine cellar.

Sacy is the birthplace of 18th century writer, Rétif de la Bretonne, and Jacques Lacarrière, well known for his interest in ancient Greece.

Two additional reasons to soak up the atmosphere of these small streets where you will find two gîtes and a surprisingly big church with an octagonal room.

Do you think the Knights Templar came here?
